An Evening of Mysteries
Second Theatre Company presented An Evening of Mysteries, featuring Agatha Christie’s The Patient, and Edgar Allan Poe’s The Infamous Soothing System of Professor Maillard. Audiences were thrilled by this night of intrigue, working to solve the mysteries and discern between good and evil.
Director of Arts Cindy Blades summarized, “We have never had an evening quite like this one. As we present these two plays, ever present in our minds is the fact that evil can look good, seem right and even be appealing. The purpose of uncovering our human nature is to sharpen our discernment between what is good and evil because in our world today it often seems there is no distinction between the two.”
